Overview

RVILS focuses on training students to be Lawyers with extensive knowledge and analytical skills. We aspire our students to take forward what they have learnt here and apply it in necessary situations. We prepare them for the diverse world of opportunities and create leaders who can lead with grace. There is rapid technological advancement happening and we teach our students to interpret the technology, analyse and create. Through B.A., LL.B. / B.B.A., LL.B. we encourage creative members of the society flourish into lawyers that uphold the value of society.

ACADEMICS

B.A., LL.B.

Through B.A., LL.B. we give our students five years of comprehensive learning of law in several fields. We inculcate practical education keeping in mind the several factors that contribute to the study of law. Along with law, there are several arts phones which are imparted. With Political Science major, Sociology and Economics will also be a part of the curriculum. For more details, refer prospectus.

B.B.A., LL.B.

Through B.B.A., LL.B. we make our students ready for a world wherein they can put their knowledge of the corporate world into action. The main difference in B.B.A., LL.B. revolves around the fact that there is a management and business phones influence on the 5 year course. Some of the phones covered while teaching B.B.A., LL.B. are Business Environment, Financial Accounting, Managerial Economics, etc. Take a look at our prospectus for more information on the same.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility: An applicant who has successfully completed regular Pre-University Course or Senior Secondary School Course (‘10 + 2’ Pattern) from an Institution recognized by the Central or State Government in India or any equivalent Institution from a Foreign University, recognized by the Government of that country and also recognized in India may apply for Five Year Integrated Degree Course in Law leading to the conferment of Degree in B.A., LL.B. / B.B.A., LL.B. upon successful completion of the regular programme conducted under the regulations governing the respective course as formulated by the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi.

Requisite percentage of marks:

  • Minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination (General Merit)
  • Minimum of 42% marks in the qualifying examination (OBC Category)
  • Minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination (SC, ST & Cat-I)

Students with 60% marks

in their Pre-University Course or Senior Secondary School Course will be preferred.
