After finishing 12th grade, I was really worried about choosing the right college for my law degree. But I was very clear on going to a college where I would have a lot of opportunities and gain maximum exposure. RVILS was the right choice for me. We have the best and experienced faculty who are constantly encouraging students to reach their full potential. Our campus and library are of the highest standards. Despite being only in the first year, I have already gotten the opportunity to participate in a National Seminar and a Moot Competition. Other than inter-college events, we also have several committees and cells within the college, which students can join. Since RVILS is a new college, the latest syllabus and best methods of teaching are used to teach the students. Frequent seminars and conferences by guest lecturers and eminent personalities in the legal field allow us to gain more knowledge about the law and its realities. Our principal, Dr. Anjina Reddy K.R., is a dynamic personality who is always welcoming towards students and their opinions. He follows and open-door policy and is a firm believer in hard work, encouraging and supporting students to be the best they can. I, being part of the second batch to join the college, was lucky enough to have our seniors to guide and support us through our first year. They were extremely helpful and had a friendly attitude towards us. Overall, the college focuses, not only on theoretical knowledge but even practical knowledge, and encourages us to take up internships during our semester breaks. Through the seminars and assignments that we submit, students are able to polish and enhance their presentation skills and vocabulary, the two essentials of a good lawyer. The college management, staff and faculty focus on the holistic growth and development of students by creating an atmosphere that is conducive to learning.

When I decided that I wanted to enter into the legal profession I had a lot of doubts and questions in my head. I wasn’t sure which college I should join and then I started looking into all the law colleges. That’s when I came across RV Institute of Legal Studies and decided to pay a visit to the campus and enquire about everything. Even though the college is relatively new it has all the facilities necessary for a law college. The Principal and the staff are very supportive and guide us to become the best in our field. Along with educating us with the academic section they also help us develop the necessary skill set to excel in the legal profession. When the thought of pursuing law started to seem like a reverie, my beloved Principal sir and the faculty members gave me a sense of anticipation. They make learning so effortlessly effervescent and the lecturers here are a raconteur aesthete setting a stage for every single student to make them accomplished. An everyday library hour, moot-court sessions, access to Manupatra and other such legal database never fails to grab my attention towards the efforts of the college to mend our futures. I would describe RV Institute of Legal Studies as encouraging, dynamic and warm. As a student with science background, I was initially very reluctant on changing streams and entering the world of law. But here at RVILS, thanks to our principal, faculty members and the non- teaching staff for being student friendly and always ready to help us. They helped me cope well with the initiation of my legal studies. The Library has a wide collection of books helping us to learn the related phones.
