Mediation Centre

About The Cell

Mediation aims to assist students to reach the decisions they consider appropriate to their own particular circumstances also, aims to assist students to communicate with one another now and in future and to reduce the scope or intensity of dispute and conflict within campus.

Activities undertaken:

A Certificate Course on Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems was conducted for the 8th Semester B.A.,LL.B. and B.B.A.,LL.B. students of MKPM RVILS as a part of their Clinical Course on ADRs from 14th March, 2025 to 16th April, 2025. The course instructor was Shri. Prasad Subbanna, Advocate and Mediator, LAWGistics, Bengaluru accompanied by Ms. Ashawari Behera, Advocate, Bengaluru. The course was conducted in three batches. The Inauguration was held on 14th March and the Valedictory was conducted on 16th April, 2025 at Mangala Mantapa and presided by our Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K. R.



Certificate Course on ADR

Certificate Course on Alternative Dispute Resolution for 8th Sem B.A., LL. B and B.B.A., LL. B was conducted by Sri. Prasad Subbanna, Advocate and Mediator, Bengaluru accompanied by Ms. Khushi, Advocate, Bengaluru. It was conducted in 3 batches from 1st to 23rd June. The valedictory program was conducted on 23rd June at the Shashwathi Auditorium presided by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K R and Mr. Arun S.



The students of VIII Semester B.B.A.LL.B. and B.A.LL.B. visited the Bangalore Mediation Centre as part of their education visit. Shri Prasad Subanna, Mediator and Trainer, Lawgistics, Bengaluru gave an overview about the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and the way mediations are carried out.



The students of 8th Semester B.A.,LL.B. and B.B.A.,LL.B. visited the Bangalore Mediation Centre, Mr. Joe Joseph, Certified Mediator, gave an overview about the alternative dispute resolution systems and the way mediations are carried out. The students had the opportunity to observe the mediation process in different matters, including divorce and contractual matters.
