MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies organized a three-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) from 25th February to 27th February 2026 on the theme “From Vision to Impact – Strengthening the Performing Professional in Higher Education.” The program was thoughtfully designed to empower faculty members to translate reflective academic vision into meaningful professional and institutional impact. On Day 1 (25th February 2026), Dr. Annapoorna Ravichander, a TEDx Speaker and Consultant, delivered an engaging and insightful session on “Teaching for Impact.” She highlighted innovative teaching methodologies that promote effective time management and provided practical strategies on how faculty can meaningfully implement the college’s vision and mission within their teaching practices, thereby aligning classroom instruction with institutional goals and values. In the second half of the programme, training Programme was conducted for the non-teaching staff. During this session, Dr. Annapoorna Ravichander offered valuable insights into effective communication skills, time management, and the importance of understanding and contributing to the vision and mission goals of the college. Her interactive approach encouraged everyone to enhance their professional efficiency and actively support the institution’s overall development. On Day 2 (26th February 2026), Dr. S. Sreekanta Swamy, Director – Research at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), conducted an insightful session on “Innovative Pedagogy and Research,” focusing on integrating research orientation with contemporary teaching methodologies. On Day 3 (27th February 2026), Sri. S. Ajith Kaikini, Director, Buoyance and Corporate Trainer, addressed the theme “The Performing Professional,” highlighting professional excellence, leadership qualities, and continuous growth in academia. The FDP witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and provided a valuable platform for knowledge enhancement, skill development, and academic enrichment.
MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies in Association with INDGenius Bengaluru South organized a seminar on the topic "Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita." The Guest Speaker for the day was Sri. Madhukar M. Deshpande, Advocate, Senior Standing Counsel, Government of India, High Court of Karnataka. The seminar was presided by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K. R., Principal, MKPM RVILS. The seminar covered various aspects of the new legislation including the new nomenclature, provisions regarding women and children, snatching, community service, etc. We also screened the short film "Kargil Vijay Diwas Film- 20 Years of Kargil Victory" made by the Indian Army in 2019, in observance of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
Training on Soft Skills was organized as an IQAC Initiative by Dr. Annapoorna Ravichander, Author, TEDx Speaker, Communicator & Trainer on 16th and 19th January, 2024.
Faculty Development Programme was organized on 6th November, 2023 on the topic - "Ethics of Teacher". The guest speaker for the programme was Sri. Baramappa Mysore, Retired Block Education Officer, Davanagere. The programme was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K.R., Principal of RVILS. The speaker enlightened the faculty about the ethics and qualities of a teacher and gave insights into how to be focused and updated.
Induction Programme for the 6th Batch of B.A.LL.B. and B.B.A.LL.B., 5-Years Integrated Degree Courses on the topic "What You Sow is What You Reap" was organized on 6th November, 2023. The guest speaker for the session was Sri. Baramappa Mysore, Retired Block Education Officer, Davanagere. The session was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K.R., Principal of RVILS.
Disha Bharat in collaboration with RV Institute of Legal Studies organized a One-day State Level symposium on the theme “LEAD INDIA: harnessing the power of youth towards ethical leadership” to commemorate the 76th year of Indian Independence on 10th August 2023 at Shashwati Auditorium.
It was inaugurated by Dr T V Raju, Director Planning, RV Educational Institutions followed by guest speakers Dr.Aruna Shyam, Senior Advocate and Sri. Vivek Alva, Managing trustee, Alva’s Education Foundation, Mangalore.
There was a panel discussion with panelists- Sri. Ashwin D Gowda, IRS officer, MD, Karnataka Silk Development Corporation, Government of Karnataka, Sri.Hariprakash Konemane, Editor-in-Chief & CEO, Vistara News, Sri Nikunj Gupta, Co- founder & CFO, Chai Point.
The panelists for the second session on best practices were Sri. SandeepVasista, Senior Manager at CEOs Office, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement, Sri.Sriniket Lakkur, Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, Smt. Rekha Ramachandran, Founder and Secretary, Disha Bharat.
The Valedictory programme was graced by Dr. Arathi V B, Founder and chairperson, Vibhu Academy. We had various academicians and students from other institutions.
The Training Academy of RVILS conducted a Career Counselling Session on Civil Services Examination by RV Training Academy on 19th July, 2023. The Chief Guest for the session was Dr. T.V. Raju, Director, RV Training Academy. The event was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K.R., Principal of RVILS.
Under IQAC initiative, the Training Academy of RVILS had organized an Interactive session on "Preparation for UPSC Exams" with the guest speaker Kshitij Verma, UPSC CSE 2023, AIR 366 on 20th June, 2023. The event was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K.R., Principal of RVILS.
Under IQAC Initiative, the Training Academy of RVILS in association with BSC Career Guidance and IAS Academy, Bengaluru conducted a Career Guidance Session on 14th June, 2023 at 11 a.m. to guide the students of RVILS regarding a career in Administrative Services and to train them for the same. The Guest Speakers for the Session were:

A Seminar on “Human Rights and its role in International Relations” was organized by Human Rights Cell, RV Institute of Legal Studies in association with Indo- Tibetan Friendship Society. The event was graced by chief guest Mrs. Norzin Dolma, Minister of the department of Information and International Relations, CTA Tibetan Govt. in Exile, Dharamshala, Guest of honour Mr. Madabhushi Madan Gopal IAS (Retd.), Former Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Forests, Environment and Ecology, Government of Karnataka, presided by Prof. (Dr.) Anjina Reddy K R, Principal, RVILS. The other distinguished guests who attended the event was Mr. Kunga Yeshi, PRO- Chief Representative Officer, Ms. Tsophel, Office Secretary, Chief Representative Officer, Mr. Gopi, Joint Secretary, Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society, Mr. Prakash, Vice-President, Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society and Mr. Niranjan, Co-ordinator of the programme.
On 11/1/2023, the Internship and Placement Cell organised a “Counselling for Studies Abroad” a session by Mr. Sandeep Pawar, for the students of 4th and 5th year B.A., LL.B. and B.B.A., LL.B.
A One Day Faculty Development Programme on Professional Excellence for Teachers was organised on 10th June, 2022. It was attended by teaching faculty of various institutions. The programme had 3 sessions with Dr. T.V. Raju, Director Planning, RV Educational Institutions, Bengaluru; Dr. S. Ranganath, Former director, RV Institute of Sanskrit Studies, Bengaluru; and Sri Jayasimha, Professional Trainer, Bengaluru, as the resource persons.
